To set up a call, you just make an appointment. You will be assigned a specific number that will be available at the time of your appointment. Choose an access code and you're finished. All you have to do now is invite everyone. Everyone you give the number and access code to and invite to the conference call meeting will be able to dial into the system.

When the first caller calls into the service, they will hear on-hold music until the next caller dials in. As long as the call is active, anyone can call in who has the number. There's no such thing as 'too late.'

Usually, the person who initiates the conference call is referred to as the presenter. This person has the ability to mute herself only and allow other participants to talk to each other or mute the entire conference. This is done by punching a combination of buttons on your telephone, which will vary from service to service.
